AfroAcadaPro is a programme for academic researchers and arts practitioners, of African descent and in the arts and the creative and cultural industries, and whose work will benefit from interrogating the borders between their professional experience and academic research.  This short programme provides participants with space to reflect on their own research or arts projects. The cohort will meet for once a month for three to four months. Each meeting is 90 minute to 2 hour long. A research task will be given between meetings. Cohorts are small to allow  time for individual presentations and in-depth discussions. The cohort's facilitator is Dr 'Funmi Adewole Elliott. 

 

The 1st cohort will meet for the first time on the 15th of April 2026. Meeting time: ​ 6pm to 7.30/8 hours GMT
